Contributing to a greener environment
To play our part in protecting our environment, People Bee Hoon Factory initiated projects with our packaging suppliers to do the following:
Reduce the thickness of the plastic packaging for our bulk packs.
Slightly increase the thickness of our consumer packs packaging, with the aim of reducing the amount of packaging discarded due to damage during the packing process.

Reduce the paper core usage by increasing per roll of plastic length from 1,000m to 1,200m.
Our above projects translate to an approximate reduction of packaging waste by 0.2 tons per year.
In recognition of our green efforts, People Bee Hoon Factory was awarded the Merit Award at the 3R Packaging Awards 2010, organized by the National Environment Agency (in line with the Singapore Packaging Agreement).Our above projects translate to an approximate reduction of packaging waste by 0.2 tons per year.
